Peaches & Cream
Posted Feb 15, 2000
Made the move! Left my old, crummy BS job. Left Atlanta, after 10 years of party city...for...
San Diego, the ocean, the mountains, and happiness. Arrived on 2-2-2000, at 2:00 pm (42!) Stayed at the Courtyard downtown for four days, went out every night - downtown rocks! Found an apartment within walking distance of work on the second day here. New job is great; nice people, smart place, well done.
New apt. is superb - spacious, tall ceilings, lots of windows, washer/dryer, microwave, garage with automatic door opener, heated pools, hot tubs, billard room, exercise room. There's a grade school across the street; children, laughing and playing around alot. Just now getting the last boxes unpacked.
My girlfriend and I made plans for this six months ago, but I don't think either of us thought things would go this well, or that it would be quite this nice.

Dressing up for Valentine's dinner, drinking white wine, listening to Beatles on surround sound...

People sending tmail to each other suffer from insecurity, thinking that because they have a terminal in their house, they are the center of the universe. Tmails being sent often, because of the nature of thought and time, are replied to before getting sent, thus causing them to be sent to begin with. More and more often, you will hear someone one the radio say something only seconds after you said it. Or if you happen to be a commentater on the radio, people call you up saying that you said something only seconds after they said, and that they said it first...
