I noticed on one of the fora in the POST page that you're an Aussie, too - there are a few more of us around (check danielt@adelaide 's page, if you haven't already found it!). I'm in Canberra, and this "Christmas drinks" thing is causing some sort of mental fixation with me at the moment. You anywhere nearby...?
I feel an Australian researchers Xmas pissup is potentially the only way we'll ever be able to be realtime sociable while still retaining our respective anonymities...!

I had one while on the 'net yesterday - possibly the first and only time my senseless ravings have been preserved for posterity! Recovery was prolonged by the fact that I was waiting obsessively for return posts!

Now I do spend a fair bit of time blowing bubbles, but I do wander around the Net a bit, and drop by H2G2 regularly.
