Hi Billypilgrim,
Great page you have and cool words.I thought i would return the compliment and visit you.I guess i am fortunate as i do have a view to die for from my place.Apart from the fact that it overlooks a nice valley with the blue hills of the Magaliesburg in the background, the sun sets, directly opposite me on the far side of the valley, giving me a totally unobstructed view of the most magnificent sunsets that appear to be just a couple of kilometres away.
Just thought i would share that with you.
love

Sounds lovely, Noname. Excuse my ignorance, (but we Americans are known for that ), but where are the blue hills of the Magaliesburg?
I have some lovely mountains right outside my windows as well, here in Pennsylvania, but my view of sunsets is blocked a bit by the neighboring houses. I must say that I don't have far to drive for those unobstructed views. Of course, the picture on my page isn't a local one. I believe it's Yellowstone National Park, in the Western part of the state.
Care for some tea while you're here?

Pardon me, but I just re-visited your homepage, and I see (for the second time) that you are in Africa. Lovely. What prompted you to move there, prey tell. It should be an interesting story.

I would love some tea with you Billypilgrim,Would you like to try my Rooibos?
The Magaliesburg are about an hour north of Johannesburg,They are more like a range of mountainous hills in truth but quite stunning particularly when you get into them,i am about 20 minutes away from them and with the haze of the sun etc they appear to be blue.
The story of me moving to Africa is fairly long, although i would be delighted to share it with you i don't want to bore you.In a nutshell i came here for a brief sojourn from the middleeast where i was on contract at the time.In those days at joburg airport one still walked across the tarmac from the planes to the terminal, somehow in that brief walk i knew i was going to be here for a long time.As time went by that feeling became a solid conviction.I have been backwards and forwards several times to Europe since then and although i always enjoy it,particularly London,it does not take too long before i am yearning for the wonders, open space and freedom of Africa.
LOL.....best be careful when you ask me about Africa and the bush because you are in danger of me going on for ever!!
Have you travelled much yourself Billypilgrim, either overseas or throughout America?
Speak to you soon
Love

Hullo, Noname. Sorry I've been so long in answering, but Real Life's kept me busy.
I can't say I've traveled extensively, though I have seen quite a bit here in the Eastern United States. I've been to New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore. I've been as far south as Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and as far north as Toronto, Canada. Never been overseas (though I hope to go to England this fall).
I'd love to hear more about your decision to move to Africa. What sort of work do you do there? It's strange, isn't it, how certain places just always feel like home, even if it's the first time we've been there.

Hello there billypilgrim,
It seems like forever since we spoke last, but then when i thought a bout it ,it was only a week ago,not even...i must of missed you.
I hope all is well with RL.For me everthing is cool,at the moment enjoying easter, nothing hectic to do and four days to do it in...lovely.
It was strange when i came here,i had not even heard of the place hardly, and at the time i first came here it would be true to say that i was a particularly wild child with nothing but having fun for a focus.Yet somehow i was drawn here and when i arrived it felt as though i had found a kind of paradise.i avtually came here originally for a holiday for a couple of weeks to see a girlfriend who had got a dancing contract here.when i eventually got around to visiting the bush i was totally hooked on Africa.I wrote once "i found myself in the bush and came back a stranger"
Which part of england will you be visiting,i will be interested to know, perhaps i can be of some guidance to you, although i am sure that there are plenty of people in here who can also help and in fact are actually there.
Another thing i was wondering about is how you got that picture onto yuour page,i would love to show some of my photographs,is it possible?
let me not make this too long ,but i shall look forward to hearing from you again
love
Noname
