If that were the view out my window...

...I think I could do with being out in it more. Sigh. I don't think I can quite do it yet, but someday I think I'll be free of this living in/very close to a city idea.

Hullo CrazyOne, fellow Heather Nova fan and current resident of Pittsburgh!! (I was checking out your homepage too, but it was late and I didn't have time to say hello). I live clear on the other side of this fair state, so that view on my page is most decidedly not the one from my window. I believe the view is one of Yellowstone, but you'd have to ask my boyfriend; he's the one who found it (I'm of the female persuasion, by the way, despite my online name). I must admit I don't do much with HTML, but don't let the other ACE's know that!!
Heather Nova was a discovery I made while working in a record shop a few years back. "Walk This World" is a great song. My personal favorite, though, is "Truth and Bone." "I want two stars for arms like Orion. I could breathe in, breathe in, breathe out."
Ah, yes, one of those from "back in the days." I'll admit that my CD collection peaked in terms of coolness in 1992.

LOL My CD collection perhaps had a peak around then too, but "peak" is a bit strong of a word, I think. I must admit Walk This World is the only Heather Nova song that really stuck with me, even though I picked up the next album as well. Working in a record store! That would be difficult; I'd want to buy too much probably. I buy a lot fewer CDs these days. At the moment I'm much more interested in picking up DVDs instead.
So whereabouts over in the eastern bit of this state do you live? I went to school in Philly about 10 years ago, but I haven't been back. And I'm not sure that precludes that view being out your window, either, depending upon where you are, but it did look a lot more like it belonged in the western bit of the country somehow.
Key: Complain about this post
