Kia Ora, Cyanblue!
You were the first to welcome me here to H2G2 and The Guide when I was known as Researcher 101768 ...
And since then I have completed my first project here that of publishing my own collection of Schoolboy Poems. They are now on a Guide Entry of their own, linked from my homepage.
That too, has undergone a name change and I have chosen a nickname for my presence here.
I invite you to visit me sometime...

Hello

Hi, Ossario T'an pointed me in your direction since you're another phyics student, so I thought I'd stop by and say Hello.
I know nothing of fluid dynamics... I take it that this is a subject to be encouraged?

Hi! Due to computer problems, I can't check this site regularly at present, but I felt I should say hello. Hello.
Always nice to meet a fellow physics student. Do you have a favourite topic?
As to fluid mech., I have a great passion for the subject, and tend to rave, so stop me if you get bored. IMHO fluid mech. is one of the most truly elegant subjects we have, but it lacks a truly nice mathematical treatment. I believe that with the recent increase in study of chaos and fractal geometry, a similarly elegant theory is within reach.
Cyanblue.

Currently my favourite topic is anything even remotely to do with astronomy. I'm thinking vaguely about changing my course from 'physics' to 'physics with astronomy', but I am undecided.
Do you know of web pages with good stuff on fluid dynamics on them?
I seem to remember reading an article a few weeks ago where they were trying to use plankton that responded to shear stresses in water by glowing to map water flows better, for example the flow of water around a swimming dolphin. Do you know anything about this?
