Hullo....
Just dropping bye, noticing you're a newbie... well, I must congratulate you for finding such a nice place to settle in! And, by what I have read, I imagine that you are equally ... hmm... I lost my train of thought! Oh well
Well, since you are new, I can only offer you the condolence that we were all new at a time, and indeed, there are places to go and people to see that can help you stumble around h2g2... namely myself, Peta, Mark Moxom, and Bruce.
I must go now, since it is nappy time
Tata, Tootles, and Cheerios,

Thanks for stopping by. Sorry I wasn't in, but there's sooooo much to see here! you'll find that I have a penchant for stating the obvious. I can't decide what I like the best, unless the variety. Would certainly like to meet most of you. Ah well, if wishes were horses....
Stop by anytime, make yourself at home. There's always tea or coffee around (no tea, if you prefer). I'm not much of a muncher, unless it's M&M's(peanut). They're in the tin by the comfy chair. Help yourself, they never run out. It's odd. Do you think they might be breeding in there?? Sorry, no alcohol here, but you're welcome to bring your own. I get a kick out of watching other people get smashed. Cheap entertainment!! Bring a friend or twelve. L

Hmm... well, knowing a bit about alcoholic beverages, and abstaining from them myself, I certainly could find a few friends out there... give you a proper welcoming... any Earl Graye and cucumber sandwiches?
Oh, and sorry for the delay- I'm in too many forums, and I find that many get buried..
Oh, and I see Peanut M&Ms, but do you have any Peanut Butter M&Ms? While I am a Reese's fan, I do, from time to time, try new things

Greetings, well met fellow. Hail!
Earl Grey, Darjeeling, English Breakfast...You name it, there's tea a plenty here. Cucumbers are rather out of season here, but I've got this friend, you know....The Reese's just arrived, that's rather odd. Ah well, these things happen when you fashion your comfy place to accomodate new friends. 'kettle whistles' Ah, Tea's done. Earl Grey, you say? I prefer Darjeeling, myself. Kick back, relax. Time is no longer relevant. I can do that, I am Luna!
Oh, did you find the tunes? There's everything from Chopin to REM. Well, not much country, but your welcome to bring some. I, too am always open to new things. My personal taste runs from classical to Rock. Personal favorite being Jethro Tull(now playing), possibly because I am a flute player myself.

Mmm... I do love Reeses... even before ET came out Sorry if I was confusing you with my spelling of Earl Graye, but that was a pun, but I guess you didn't catch that I actually prefer mandarin tea, plain, none of that lemon, honey, or sugar to corrupt it! Myself? I don't like Jethro Tull, but that doesn't mean I'm not open to new things; my library of music is quite extensive and ranges from Binky the Doormat to Fanfare of the Common Man to Walk Like an Egyptian... I rarely stray far from the eighties, though... I get lost rather easily.... Have you heard the new Bowie album?

All tastes welcome here. Forgive me, I finally got it. I'm rather slow, today.(shaking head, how did I miss that).Too excited over having company. Distracted by agonizingly slow pc. We're battling and it's winning. I even spelled it Gray. God's, am I open to subliminal suggestions today, or what?? 'woosh'-right over my head. OK, I'm over it.
I don't know how out of date I am. Do you mean Earthlink? Just got that one! Most of my Bowie is on vinyl. Is my age showing?! I've got 2 Ziggy Stardust. The last song's different on each. Guess that's why I bought two. Wondering how much 'Tull you've experienced. Most people that I've met who don't like them have only heard the radio stuff. Not a good example of them, in my opinion. Listening to one called "Original Masters". Good variety-lot's of flute.
Eighties, huh? Good stuff! That's my teen years. Ah, the memories! My taste starts somewhere in the American Hippy era and hasn't stopped yet. Some of the new stuff is pretty wild, for me, but.....
Bowie is always welcome. How 'bout Tom Petty or Stevie Ray Vaughn?
Don't know the first group you mentioned. Where are they from?
Have to agree with the no lemmon, etc. Ruins perfectly good tea!

Hmm... which forum am I in? God! I am such a loser.... hmm... I suppose I will have to guess... Ah! Yes... hmm... I have hear a lot of Tull, and I'm not sure why, but I just am not very receptive of him... Stevie Ray for that matter either.... I do, however like Tom Petty... I have all of his stuff, except his new CD, which I'm too poor to buy I wasn't a teen 'til very recently... In my opinion, at least..
Those were all songs... Binky the Doormat was done on REM's New Adventures in Hi-FI CD... Yawn... time for a nap

uummm....I knew Walk like an Egyptian. Thought I knew alot of REM, didn't know that one. Yes,well..... personally, I wouldn't want to be a teen again. I'm just over thirty and more immature then I ever was when I was under 21. The only thing that really sucks about growing up is no allowance, and you have to do your own laundry.
Tom Petty is a favorite around here as well. My son wore the Mad Hatter costume for the Halloween Parade here. (He's a teen) He's 6'4", plays the sax. Quite excellent at it. Of course, I would say that, since I'm his mom. Quite a site in that purple velvet top hat, I must say.
Oh my, it seems I put you to sleep. Well, everyone's good at something. Sweet dreams.......
