We are going to do the kids programming for the upcomming ISDC in Oklahoma City? Will you be able to go?

My guess is NO because you are poor. It's a shame though.

Anyway, you should write. You know alot of stuff. How about a tourist guide to the old LA. You can do it. We were amazed at your knowledge. You can practice in the Get Writing forum. I'm trying my hand at that.

I'm actually cheering up a bit today!

I went to a Job Fair at Glendale Comm College and got 1 interview and 3 maybes. Always ignored job fairs, maybe that's a bad plan! There's another one tomorow at the Hilton, Universal Studios.

I will be going back to school to update skills but I'm not as depressed as I was! That was really a miserable job I had. Glad to be quit of it (and the horrible commute!)

Sorry to hear you're suffering economic crisis as well. How are things generally in D, TX? My brother lives in Lewisville and he told me things were picking up (and I'm quoting here!) -- "There's lots of jobs". Of course, he's been trying to get me to move to TX forever. Can't though. I'm a california girl now!

Glad you're going to ISDC! Just got an email from Pat, who chaired last year's in San Jose and she said they're really short handed this time. I almost did come, but Pat was going to pay my way and she works for Loral in Palo Alto; nuff said about that.

Is your email the same as it was the last time Terry posted to OASIS members? If so, I'll drop you a line there! The good thing about being OOW is that I've been reconnecting with all my old friends!

Let me know how the kids are, they must be getting big!
