Annie, the article looks great! Congratulations to you, big time! I am jazzed that it's at such an auspicious time, too. Woohoo, to HooToo!!
I hope that the article helps people who may not know they *have* heart disease issues to get off their duffs and check it out! I wish I had known, I might have saved myself some pain, grief, and anxiety.
RE: the oedema, I'm sitting here typing this in computer lab, with the lower R cuff of my jeans soaked in oedemous fluid (due to the jeans being of the stretchy variety, so that the cuff touches the ankle). Stupid scar still has not closed completely, and when I bopped it yesterday, it started oozing again. Eeeeewwwwww -- VERY frustrating! I wonder if I should add this gross info to *why* people need to take this topic seriously -- certainly very icky.
