Well, hello there! I do seem to have a plentiful supply of chocolate, but truth be told, prefer Grapefruit Muscat to Champagne anyway (and in any case, only drink the virtual stuff anyway!)smiley - blue

I must warn of the cat, however .. fastest way to get around in here is just carry him; terrible ankle tangler! smiley - biggrin

Personal favourite is Kahlua & milk...but I don't drink very much, there's nothing particularly special about it...smiley - smiley I shan't carry the smiley - cat, I think I'll just sit down and let (him? her?) jump up on my lap...*does so and is rewarded by a lapful of smiley - cat* smiley - biggrin So, I'll just sit back here, listen to the rythmic purring of this fine feline whilst you tell me a bit about yourself. Sound like a good idea? smiley - smiley

It sounds like a plan. smiley - biggrin

Thanks to a friend of mine, I have an active coffee addiction, but I also take a number of "liver-hitter" medications and alcohol is NOT recommended! Sigh. But a virtual Kahlua and cream is a great idea!

Actually, Rocket.cat is a stealth cat, as far as laps are concerned. You just look down, and find he has materialized magically in your lap. He's getting a little big for carrying, anyway -- 11 pounds and he's only about 10 months old! Has huge paws, but I'm hoping it doesn't mean the same as it does in dogs!

So sorry to keep you waiting on my couch for so long; really no way to treat royalty, I know. I'm totally zonked on Tuesday nights after class. Left the house at 6 am to get a bus to work (my carpool was cancelled, so I had to bus it) and it's a 35 mile commute. Class is after work, till around 10 pm, with home by 11. Not that I'm complaining (too much!). Bit hard on my old bones, though. Last night, was, well, er.....no excuse comes to mind.....smiley - winkeye
Spend too much time online anyway!

If it is not being too nosy, How did you acquire your monarchy? I have never read the works of H.P. Lovecraft, (and yes, I know, shame on me!) and I don't know if this comes with the name or not?

You're excused...smiley - winkeye

I acquired the monarchy by...err...declaring myself monarch! smiley - winkeye I set up my own little kingdom with a friend, and all of a sudden all of these other people decided it looked like a nice place and came along to join...the URL is http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A446078 if you'd like to see it...As it happens, when I chose the name Cthulhu, I'd never read Lovecraft either...I just thought it was a good name, but now I have read some (though not nearly all) of his books...briefly, Cthulhu is High Priest to the Great Old Ones, sort of evil Gods that have been trapped in a sunken city (called R'lyeh) until such time as the stars align properly and they can once again be free... for some reason the Cthulhu character has spawned a huge range of books which broadly come under the heading "The Cthulhu Mythos", written by other authors about this Lovecraftian character...it's quite interesting, actually...smiley - smiley But he's defintiely not a King, that's purely my little addition...smiley - winkeye
