Here's a little Entry about some little birds that I always enjoy seeing when I'm out and about birdwatching

- But don't get distracted as you read.
Off went I to the page with the entry wrote in it
Reading all about the bird known as the cock linnet
But I was distracted by a ditty, and duly diverted.
Forgot the birds, only remembering an old song instead
You can't review an entry all about common birds
When you've got a song stuck in your head.

It is a good year for Linnets - I've seen them on the marsh, at the beach and also in a grassy area on the outskirts of a town In previous years I've only seen them on the marsh.
