You might find more expert advice on EGness in the non-alternative Writing Workshop. I don't know how much PR might think some of your review is opinion, and I don't know how the structure will go down. So can't really comment on that but I like your structure and I like the personal flavour the writing has.

The structure's different, which adds interest, and it's appropriate - the band's life is in and through its music after all. The ending works well in that way. I feel there's something missing at the beginning though. It jumps straight into a list with the band already formed. But then you've titled it a discography and that's what this is.

An inexpert from me I think , but maybe better than nothing (and it will at least bounce the thread ).
