Deep, honest and with true passion. These words could be used to desribe the poem with which you've graced us.
How often in life we meet such folk as this, and just as often judge them for it. Eccentric by the polite or bat s**t crazy by those with less manners, and yet some few recognize the message for what it is.
Be it rage against the machine or simply fighting the good fight, it is without a doubt heartfelt and as such deserves to be heard, and if we listen closely we may find wisdom in these words.
Many thanks for sharing this with us, I listened closely and enjoyed what was said.

Wow. This is impressive. I think the poetic aspect gets better as it goes on, but the story and theme are strong throughout.
I don't know much (correction, absolutely nil) about poetry, but this, I like.

Good stuff!
It's also difficult providing feedback on poetry, but here is some anyway...
The first three verses are much less obvious than the later verses. It was when I went back to read them again that I started to get something from them. This is not necessarily a bad thing. The last verses really flow, the first verses you have to think about.
The second line doesn't really work for me - either in the scan or in the content.
I love the ending couplet Do you need the 'And' though? And as you step out of voice, maybe put it in italics?

Ok, I'm going round all my entries in review with this message: I am going away for 1 month (To India) in a Week. In the unlikely even't that anything of mine is picked, please (If it is one of my AWW entries although everyone in the UG should know this anyway) don't assume I have elvised or anything of the sort, just put the entry on hold until September 4th onwards when I'll be back.
And the same with the entry I have in PR, I would appreciate if in the unlikely event of anything of mine being picked, if, It would be held back so I could see its front paging.
Thanks

Hello Father poetpaul,
But I didn't know that you'd ever gone away!
We all have to have a break from h2g2 at some time or other, or we'd all go gaga!
Now, if you'd been gone for a twelvemonth, that would have been another matter!
The present piece reminds me very much of myself... the 'awakening' of an introverted soul...finding his voice... via yet another anonymous medium.

Now, that's really interesting!
If you feel so inclined I'd like to know how you found the place in terms of your personal comforts over there, and the cultural differences that you discovered for yourself, good, bad or indifferent!

Hmm thats hard to explain, it is very different than it is here but you get used to It all. The pace of life, the way people think, what people talkabout, the way people say things, and the foodare all different so its something that took a bit of getting used to

I can well imagine! With my digestive problems I could never tolerate eating in Indian restaurants in Britain, let alone eating in India itself!
What with the monsoon season, all those flies, and elephant and oxen crap everywhere, I'd lose any appetite I might conjour up in spite of it in an instant. Not to mention the steaming, teeming millions in the cities.
(Mind you, London's not much better these days, but theirs is dog and pigeon crap, carbon monoxide for air and teeming, steaming millions of gold-diggers! I've been there a lot in my time, spending weeks working in the city (square mile) and that was as bad as anywhere in the conurbation!)
I wouldn't work there again for a million pound contract, and God knows, I need the flippin' money!
