Inspired by an article in my Sociology class, I realised the fine line between objective and subjective.

Warning: Very tersely told, not wordy.

If you are still confused, turn the words Nacirema snaftrops around.

smiley - yikes For once I think you've gone for TOO concise! Bulk it out a bit with more detail, I enjoy these sorts of things.

It's a good idea, this, and you have a knack for interesting writing. The idea needs following through consistently to work properly - would you have a heading 'The Audience' in a documentary about a tribe/culture? I don't know - just feel something more formal/scientific/jargonish might add something.

You succeeded in unwordiness! There's scope for more without losing the terseness if you wanted to do that.

A related species found in Europe, would be the Naeporue Snafllabtoof, of which there any many (far too many) sub-species (very sub) smiley - winkeye. They paint their faces to support their chosen 'Chosen Ones' and encourage them by throwing small coins and the occasional mobile phone into the arena. Interminable hours of tv are devoted to their rituals.
