This my first entry for the alternative writing workshop. It is about what happened to me today at the threshold of a beer garden.

What a hoot.
But why the VC? Didn't know they were big on kung fu.
If you'd tart this up a bit, bit more intro, more paras, a little more fancy (pseudo-)tension, this would make a fine entry, I think.
And all I know about martial arts is Carradine and that silly Pat Morita movie.

I like this as it is.
True, you could add extra twists to it but it works fine as an amusing account of an odd incident.

I thought the VC was the quickest and most recognisable way of describing the Pjs. Also for some reason I find it pleasant to end a sentece with pub. And then to end the next with Viet-cong.
I think I will have a go at extending the intro and figuring out where the heck I can stick some paragraphery in. I don't know what fancy (psuedo)tension is though unfortunately.
Thanks for reading it peops.

love the picture painted here. I do like it as is, but it could maybe be framed to show it off better.
Perhaps the detail in the Big Chill section is a bit of a diversion from the real scene - it slips towards a journal entry a little there.
Key: Complain about this post
