Thanks human, I enjoyed this glimpse into another place and other lifestyles, as always.
This was a good idea for an article and the ending was unexpected and nice too 
.
I travelled by train here a few weeks ago, and yes, I was trying to pick up on all the threads of life going on at the station, and in the carriage - nothing as interesting as your experience though.
