Since the promised Political Party Generator is taking forever (existing in part but still a long way from completion) I thought I'd send this down here in the meantime, for the benefit of anyone who didn't check the thread it began as during the election.

I need one of these but I haven't got a dice - so I haven't tried it yet. And I don't want to read your options until I can try it. It would spoil the fun.
What about putting the number of options in after each letter in the paragraph? Then the diceless like me could randomly pick a number and know what we think about things.
There are many applications for something like this. Don't suppose you have a 'Handy What to Say in a Conversation about Football' one? Could do with that for this weekend.

You'll need a D&D-style set off oddly-shaped dice in order actually to try it, I'm afraid -- an upshot of its origins in PCG's generic RPG plot generator. As an admittledly slightly clumsier alternative you could try the random number generator at http://www.random.org/nform.html , and I'll add a link to the Entry. (I don't think you really lose anything by reading it through first, though; certainly you get a feel for the full range of options and the potential silliness...)
As for your other suggestion, football isn't my thing, but if anyone else wants to have a go...

'set off' --> 'set of'
Link added, anyway; the parameters need changing to simulate different dice, but it works.

Maybe now I'll get around to finishing the 'Political Party Generator' people were asking for when the Opinion Generator first appeared in an election discussion thread, all that time ago.
