I don't know if this is on enough, or if it's too specific. I don't know if I'm writing it right, as far as information required, or usually included, goes (I lightly checked out the guidelines, but just wrote).

I like it . The liklihood of my ever being able to go there is about zero, but I feel as if I have been there, eaten french toast and come out trying not to rub the stickyness off on my coat! So all that detail worked for me. I think this is nicely readable too.
gscottj, you're very new to h2g2 and I don't want to make it all sound too complicated but it's difficult not to. You ask if this is ok re what is usually included. Well;
1. your entry already exists in h2g2 so is part of the guide just as it is, as you chose to write it. There are no guidelines, bar the site's T&Cs, for that part of the guide. And I think it's an excellent guide to Babycakes Restaurant/Cafe and is a great h2g2 entry. Perhaps for practical guide purposes, but only for those, it would help to put Restaurant or Cafe in the title.
2. There is however the 'Edited Guide' (EG) section of the site, for which there are guidelines. To put your entry up for inclusion there you'd need to submit it to Peer Review (rather than the Alternative Writing Workshop (AWW) which is where you have submitted it to). I don't know what the opinion there would be over the level of detail you've given. Personally I think it is fine. The one Edited Guideline though that you haven't followed, that would be picked up on there, is that EG entries should all be in the third person.
3. There are other parts of h2g2 that feature non EG entries, (The Post, AGG/GAG/CAC, the UnderGuide, SOG) that do not have restrictive guidelines and this (the AWW) is the place to submit them to.
The choice is yours! But it would be useful to know whether you want this in the EG or not because then people can comment accordingly.
One general suggestion though - double spacing the paragraphs would make it much easier to read on screen, and might get you more readers and commenters.
And now I need ,
Thanks for posting this.

PS, you also asked is it was on enough. Yes. No problem with that. Reviews of individual cafes, restaurants, pubs etc are standard h2g2 subjects.
PPS, forgot to say welcome to h2g2 - Welcome!

LL Waz is correct about the paragraphs. I haven't read the entry yet for just that reason, only skimming it to see if it was interesting enough to follow along should a conversation develop here.
One of the interesting things about H2G2 vs just about every other encyclopedia, is that the concept of 'what it is like for you to know this information, and what possible consequences of knowing this' is often added. Adding detail that gives the reader an idea of what their personal knowledge of any particular entry is a good thing. (that is, me not knowing the level of detail there is, because, I haven't really read it yet).

Gscotti looks like an elvis.
This needs work, guide ML if nothing else. Plus I think it is more EG than UG.
Suggest a move to the Flea Market or failing that back to the entry.

I like this piece, not least because it's so in line with the cafe review I heard Douglas Adams quote as an example of what the guide could be like. Gscottj posted so little he does look like an Elvis but I think we should give it another couple of months just in case. I have this vision of globe trotting researchers who log in every now and then from internet cafe stops in their travels .
If it did go to the Flea Market I'd love to give it the guideML it needs and have a go at taking out the first person references to see if it can get into the EG.
