Sorry about this, looks like I'll need to explain myself.

I'm playing according to the ISIHAC version, in addition to making very tenuous (and invented) connections between totally unrelated words, one team would say words that were obviously related, and the others would pretend not to see any connection.

I guess either that didn't come across very well over the internet, or you prefer to not to play it that way.

Apologies I was trying to be playful hence the smiley but feel I was within the rules (see below) – but am happy to take a point penalty:

#1: “Any fans of 'I'm Sorry I haven't a clue' will be familiar with this game. You play it like Word asosciation or 'Mallets Mallet', however the words must be disconnected. If you can challenge and demonstrate a valid connection you gain a point and start a new game. Counter challenges are not allowed. Valid in this context means either true or amusing.”
