I do hope it should "on one entry in PR" - there is more than one entry, as far as I know



I am worried by the lack of participation by the entry's writer, which I believe would help keep this thread on track

I do hope that we haven't scared him off, PR can be a bit intimidating for these newbie writers

Or do we have to be really quiet and ignore it till it gets on the front page?

Was that quiet long enough?

I really think it s coming along nicely... Just a few finishing touches and the footnotes and links I thinks... and maybe a few headings, and footnotes, and perhaps a bit more explination or soemthign...

It is very easy to read

You mean I have to explain things, too?

Have you considered using marquee tags to get the table to move left and right and up and down, all over the place? This would make it easier to read for people attempting to read this article while bouncing on a pogo stick.

For some reason people tend not to use marquee tags in articles in Peer Review. No-one knows why.

Guys - our writer is preparing a new thread for the entry, hopefully this last one will be more successful than his earlier ones

Perhaps I should withdraw it from Peer Review and put it into the Collaborative Workshop?

That would be an excellent idea, except for two problems:

1.) We don't have a Collaborative Writing Workshop
2.) We don't have a Collaborative Writing Workshop

Technically that is only problem, but I thought it was such a big one I'd mention it twice.

I think it might be overly verbose. I was thinking of shaving a few pixels off it. What do you think?

Can those pixels be removed without losing the flowing articulate sense that permeates this entry?

Well, the 'it' on the end of the second sentence is not strictly necessary.

Also, the sentence at the end is misleading, as there is only one footnote, rather than 'some'.

Do all the cells of the table really need to have a pink background? I think varying the colours may generate more interest in the entry, though in fairness, the length of this thread indicates a certain amount of interest already.
