You're talking to yourself again! Stop posting in your own message centre. Only devoted lurkers will find posts there. Luckily, hootoo is full of lurkers (also known as nosy busybodies). I used to be one of the best, but I've been lax recently.
How have you been?
I didn't see a speech, as such, on your PS. I suppose you meant the paragraph about accepting emos. It's certainly heartfelt, sounding very true. It sounds like it was born of a very real pain. Know you have friends, friends here, and also in 'real' life (whatever that is). As long as you never feel you have no one to talk to, you'll be fine.
But keep fighting, even when you no longer have to fight for yourself. Fight for others who still need it. And there are and will be plenty of those.

I'm fine thanks, you?! I wrote it because there is a group of people in my school who are just like me.
We never do anything to annoy anybody we keep ourselves to ourselves, as some people say.
But one day, another group of people who don't like people like me decided to come over to us at break and just pick on us! I thought it was completly unessacery (not sure if i've spelt that right) and walked off before I got too angry.
So the next day in class (I think it was maths) they decided to take things further and throw things at me, I ignored it and carried on with my GCSE folder, I was sorting my work, they then decided to take it further still, and actually hit me!
I tought this was just unbeliveable! And I took this story to my head of year. When we go back to school in september they are going to be punished for bullying.

just to be clear I meant the unprovcoded attac not the speech.

Ha ha! The attack didn't leave any permanent damage, erm just marks and a tiny bruse, but according to the teachers it was still 'bodily harm'. I'm over it now anyway and have something else to be unhappy about.

The abuse I get on my street for beeing different. Sometimes I just question my life, weather or not I should just take my own life, or just leave it as it is. You know it was actually quite hard to put that. I need someone to listen and I think I can find that here. Can I?

BeowulfShaffer Posted Aug 7, 2008
We are very good listeners here but if you are at all serious about taking your life you might want to talk to someone more along the lines of a professional consulor. And rember were all your freinds here and I;m free right now if you want to talk.

If you’re feeling in despair or suicidal, it could make all the difference to talk to someone about how you are feeling. You could talk to your GP/family doctor, or to someone who is trained to help? Medical professionals and counsellors are there to help you deal with the problems that you are experiencing.
Please try to speak to your GP, or talk to someone at the Samaritans, you can call or email the Samaritans at any time. The Samaritans’ contact details are:

I don't know your situation in any detail. I don't know how obviously different you are. (How much do you stand out from 'normal' kids by being an Emo?) And I don't really know how bad the bullying is or how much it's affecting you.
So I can't honsetly say that I understand what you're going through, but I can certainly empathise to some extent. I was bullied in school, though not to the extent you are. What helped me, more than anything else, was the realisation that the bullies were worthless.
As long as you aren't being physically hurt (and it sounds like you aren't, much), the only weapon the bullies have is to express their opinion. "You're worthless!", they tell you; "we don't like you." And fair enough. That's their opinion. And what is their opinion worth? Nothing, that's what.
You worry about your friends' opinions. Take care to be respected by those you respect. People you don't respect can think what they want of you, and it doesn't matter. When I realised that, it was a wonderfully liberating feeling.
You can't stand entierly on your own two feet. No one can. And no one's asking you to. You need support, as does everyone else. But you have that support. You have friends. People respect you (I do, anyway, and my opinion must count for something, surely?). Remember that, and keep your focus on the good things.

I haven't posted much on this thread but I wanted to let you know that it is because I was afraid of saying something stupid and making you even sadder not because I was ignoring you or didn't care. Also I really hope that you call one of aunt beebs lines if you are thinking about suicide but at the same time want to make sure you know that I am saying that cause I'm worried and not cause I want to pawn you of on someone else or anything and that if you need a friend to talk to I'm here. Also Trig is right about bullies its normal to feel hurt by them but really they have as much power over you as you let them.

I see you have had a visit from Auntie Beeb. She gives you some very sound advice. You need to talk to someone about what is happening in your life
You have some wonderful friends here, TRiG and Beowulf are watching over you. If I can help, you know where to find me

Thanks for all the advice! It seems at the moment talking to you lot has been better than talking to my friends from school, their reactions where immature and stupid! They even started to bully me when I told them. Thanks it was hard writing that as anybody could read it but i'm glad you all did!
