Well yesterday I went for a lovely walk in the village of scorton
which is rather pretty and picturesque http://scortonvillage.com/
we also stopped at the barn cafe for some cake and a drink (well I think we'd earned it after the walk)
Today I went to a midwives appointment (31+2) and bump is now "head down" which is good as long as he doesn't change his mind
I also popped into the butchers where i picked up a lamb breast for only £2 which i think shall indeed stretch to more than one dinner (because it's quite big and well... we don't eat that much meat really)
and then i went to the local heart foundation store and picked up a lovely summer dress for after bump has arrived, it's bigger than my pre bump size so I'm hoping to be able to wear it while I'm loosing the baby weight, (or as much of it as I can)
I got back to discover husband painting the hall, which is almost done apart from that hard to reach bit at the top of the stairs... well the roller didn't extend long enough, but the hall is nearly ready for hanging pictures and putting the mirror up, we got it when we got married (a wedding gift) but it hasn't been up in this house yet....
I tidied monsters room and changed his sheets for washing, he's forgotten about the sheets I've replaced them with so he thought they were new so was very happy!
Tomorrow is a day to go get the grocery shopping I think,
we're almost out of milk and we need fresh bread... and well everything really I guess.... I must write a list tonight!
Next week... well I've got a consultants appointment, hopefully I'll find out about the vitamin d test results (the midwife was rather confused, it's complicated apparently) and I've got another scan to see how big bump really is I think... although as I'll have another 7ish weeks to go at that point, I'm sure he is able to do some more growing yet!
is rather excited about my knitting project (he wants a knitted blanket) so I've got one square of the blanket (thick blue wool) and am perhaps half way through another patch, I've got two other balls of wool for further patches and might (perhaps) do another two after that to make six... or eight in all, all different colours.
and sew the patches together to make the blanket!
it does make your hands tiered after a while though!
I keep promicing to make a fruit pie, I've got frozen berries, cherries, mixed summer fruit. frozen puff pastry, well... everything to be honest,
I've tinned pears so I could make another Eve's pudding http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/252606/eves-pudding
it works quite well with pears...

Your life sounds totally idyllic. I remember those happy days with bumps and babies and toddlers. (You forget the bad bits after about 30 years)
I am reminded of the Woodentops. (In a nice way, I hasten to add)

there are the bits you don't tell people about too,
like irrational fear of
changing 's sheets each day because he hasn't quite got the hang of toilets at night time
and trying to find clients for self employed pottery making
www.redfoxpottery.com
but I think running around with monster and bump are the main things at the moment in my mind anyway so it's only right that they are the things i talk about too.
Today we went for a walk by knot-end and we saw literally hundreds of ladybugs! who is normally quite wary of bugs even let a few run over his hand
