well it's that time of year again...
and I've just had a rather interesting conversation with HMRC,
it only took me twenty minutes and five phone calls to get to the right department of HMRC but I managed eventually
I had called because I didn't have my unique tax reference number
and after listening to there recording i was panicking slightly because it takes two weeks to get to you apparently
and tax is due next week....
The lady at the tax office took all my details national insurance, date of birth, address, phone number.... then told me that I don't have the number because they haven't sent it to me, because...
I don't owe tax this year 
yes according to there computers I don't pay tax for 2010/11 and will instead do a form for 2011/12 which is fine because that's not due next week on a needlessly confused computer system
well that's a wait off of my shoulders for the next couple of months,
now to just hope that the rest of the day goes so well
