h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

wow two weeks of solid journals,
I bet your all getting tired of hearing from me now

last night was one of the most fun I've had in a while,
there was of course the woman with the really annoying laugh somewhere in the audience who thought every sentence was amazing
and several calls for bill to take his clothes off... well it is Blackpool after all

they are still in the process of restoring the winter gardens in Blackpool so many areas still had scaffolding in them but it was nice to see what we could, even the lighting wire held up by the ratty looking bit of old string....

we got a taxi home Twenty pounds to get from Blackpool to Thornton that's over a pound a minute we were in the taxi now I know taxies are expensive and it was a Sunday night but twenty pounds, for crying out loud it was a tenner before we'd reached the end of the promenade...
outrageous that's all I can say, and it's not because I'm Scottish

we're sitting with bananas and custard I think I'm too full to eat the second half of the bowl so I'll go put that in the fridge (and hope i don't forget about it)
