funny word twelfth doesn't look quite right
after yesterdays episode with the vegetable soup which turned out to be leek and potato, I had two bowls and felt horrible for the rest of the night over full heart burn and er... wind
tonight I've got heart burn again but I don't think I've eaten anything to warrant it today so unfair
Joseph went out to play computer games with his brother and cousin (boys....) and we made raspberry jelly with Ephraim he has a thing for the colour red at the moment and he hates strawberry jelly but will ask for it because of the colour he also loves bakugan not because he likes them but because his older cousin does and well.... everything his cousins like he does, they can be a bad influence at times though have you seen bakugan they are very expensive little plastic toys that fold up into balls and spring out again when they contact magnetic playing cards but at about ten pounds a shot i think they are too expensive and on-top of that I'm not about to get him something I don't agree with anyway,
advertising on television (children's television through the day) is so packed with things screaming "buy this toy" it can be rather annoying when every other thing is "mummy I would like that" and I think he knows he won't get it it's just hopeful asking to see if there is any possibility but aren't we making our children rather materialistic? I remember being happy with a skipping rope and a bouncy ball and I'm not that old... am I?

Advertising to children makes me cross
Making 'consumers' of out children is hideous on every level.I think it promotes consumerism rather than materailism and don't get me started on stereotypes in adverts...
*makes mental note of Dr Anthea's, erm, 'dietary requirements'* for when she drops round to my space
heart burn is not nice hope it goes soon
