well the day started early ; at around 2.30am a small child climbed into mummy and daddy's bed complaining because mummy told him to go back to sleep
lunch/breakfast was a bacon sandwich with smoky bacon but I don't know where the brown sauce is... sometimes I use tomato instead but today was sauceless
it is with some surprise i realise I've kept this up for a week so far,
it's sort of fun I think i've spoken to people I'd never seen on site before so I think I'll almost miss this journal a day thing once the month is over
need to go shopping soon,
we need vinegar, butter, cordial, the little things really since we stopped buying our meat from the supermarket and using our local butcher instead I've noticed I'm a lot happier with the flavour, texture, cost well everything, it actually works out cheaper most of the time and we get a lot of the cuts that supermarkets won't supply now if only the village had a greengrocer we'd be set,
Joseph owes me some home made Éclairs (he promised them ages ago)I'm hoping by mentioning it here I'll finally get some

I agree entirely with what you've said about the NaJoPoMo challenge. I'm surprised too about how quickly it's gone - only three weeks left and it'll all be over.
It also, to me, seems to offer an opportunity to visit others PS's when previously I'd have never done so. I *never* tread on anyones space unless I'm invited. Although all discussions here are visible, I view the PS as just that - a Personal Space.
Somehow with NaJoPoMo, I don't have the same inhibitions and I'll happily post my comments to people I've never met before.
Having said that, I'll still only post in the NaJoPoMo journals. Invading someone's private conversations in any other manner is still a big no, no, for me.

well you would both be welcome over here any time,
I agree with what you've said though sometimes peoples journals do seem very personal bur once during a time of great personal crisis the Researchers here (many of whom i consider friends without having ever meet) were of such great help and support that I don't know what i would have done without them
Key: Complain about this post
