That looks like an interesting recipe; I'm tempted to try it. One thing, though - should the fish and bacon be raw when put in the kalakukko, or do they have to be cooked first?

It's funny :DD I live in SAVO (the place where the kalakukko is from) and I've only tasted it once. And didn't like it. but good luck on that

Being a big fan of Kalakukko myself, I'm quite tempted to try this recipe. Do you think it could go into the leivinuuni overnight?
