Worse things happen at sea - just ask Cook! Hmmm. Mutiny. Bad example.
Worse things happen in ice - just ask Shackleton! At least they all got home again.
Or Scott! Going round in circles and beaten by the Norwegians.
All in all, it's not the end of the world is it?
