Please, give me a break - I wouldn't send my neighbour's diseased rotweiller in there without some form of security - it's a hole - not the worst in Dublin, I'll grant you, but not far from it....Dublin as a "fair city" is a concept that dates back too many years to be relevant today, unless you can catch a glimspe of a bird-poo covered sculpture devoted to our literary heros - and I am talking works of pure fiction here

Having trashed the city, the beer's not too bad (as long as you stay away from Temple Bar) and there's plenty of tourists to see wandering into Temple Bar happy and jubilant and leaving rather worse for wear, both in appearance and the contents of their wallet (if they were lucky enough to get that out to)....
