Hey, I was readin' over ye olde lovely Random Quotes Guild Website and noticed that, somewhereabout down near the bottom there it utilizes the phrase 'refer back'.. which reminded me of a rather good, haphazard sort of quote from one of my lectures day before yesterday:
"It always shocks me when people say 'refer back'. The 're-' means 'back'. You don't use BOTH... There are two kinds of people in this world that really get my goat: People who put ice in their wine, and people who say 'refer back'" - Prof Frank Korn
