I'm not a pro writer in any sense, I'm afraid. In fact I've only started writing this sillyness since I bought my laptop in May and got meself connected to the broadband.

You're the second person to say on the MBs recently that I'm wasting my talents and should be writing novels or articles. Someone told me the other day that I must be a professional film critic!

I've also started sending emails to radio shows on 6Music which get read out live on the shows. Jokey poems and stuff. I have great fun doing those as well. Hmmmm.

Right - you've all talked me into it.

....and now get paid for it!!! I also think you would be great comedy script writer - if you can fathom the labyrinth to get your work to the right person, also think of satirical magazines etc. not to forget perhaps your local Reading papers who could probably do with a fun column.

"fairy/blue butterfly/rose/artist/orange butterfly/rose/dog/sheep/ant/magic" - female - artist - countryside??

"red wine/chef/fish/cake/strawberry/cappuccino" - favourite meal? enjoy your food?

"musical note/rose/bubbly/strawberries/musical note/rose/musical notes" enjoy the finer things of life? wine music flowers sweet things??

"love/jester/nah nah" - final salutation - love from the jester?

Other thoughts: Are the images set to represent words or ideas?..... Are the roses full stops? .....Are there any anagrams?

Everything you said is spot on... you know really nothing about me and I shan't elaborate on this board. The clue was really contained in my first message.

I also thought about it again and decided with your great sense of dialogue you really ought to write the next west end hit comedy. I know you can! Just recently a friend of mine sent my a draft of a what she thought might make a book... and asked for my opinion (I am no expert but have some sound sense and an undesirable amount of frankness). I am afraid she really only wrote a kind of diary with no point of view, wit or controversy - except trying to present herself in a good light and occasionally regurgitating her husband's opinions.

You love people, are an astute observer, have a sense of the real and surreal and have a totally charming and amusing way to make us laugh at ourselves. Please try! A talent like yours MUST be shared!

(nothing personal... just my attitude to things. The best birthday card i ever found was a drawing of this lanky 10/12 year old girl - at the truly ugly duckling stage - who gestures and says: nah nah - nah - nah nah - you are older than me.... I always feel like her, although I am simply retarded and wish I could find anybody to say this to.

p.s. if you think you know who I am... just post "I know " and I will find a discreet way of checking with you.

Your original posting was so short that I could only get a few clues from it. (Probably a good thing - less red herrings!)

I have some theories and the idea that I've narrowed you down to a few possible people.
