Looks good. The article brought back fond seabussing memories.
Arr. smiley - pirate

Just a few suggestions:

Replace 'is' with 'was' in the following:
'One was rescued by a rope ladder lowered from the SeaBus crew and the second man was picked up by a nearby tugboat'

Add 'the' and use numerals rather than words, for clarity in the following:
'The crew deployed one of the four 150 passenger inflatable life rafts and recovered all of the crash victims.'

Rephrase the following, for clarity, example:
'SeaBus was designed and built in British Columbia, following planning begun in 1973 as a result of concern over increasing traffic congestion on the two bridges crossing the harbour.'

Rephrase:
'This is astonishing when one considers Vancouver harbour is easily one of the busiest in North America, complete with it's own Traffic Control Tower.'

'The twin SeaBus vessels, the Burrard Otter and the Burrard Beaver, link the downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver terminals with 126 one-way trips daily.'

'They are double-ended, aluminum-hulled catamarans, each powered by four diesel engines.'

(This could be a footnote) -->
'Please note that in this unique perspective the words "front" and "behind" can be used since "bow" and "stern" can be instantly exchanged.'

Correct typo, 'one' instead of 'One'
'SeaBus travels at a cruising speed of eleven and a half knots, crossing the harbour’s one and three quarters nautical miles in twelve minutes.'
(this could be a footnote) -->
'Although a higher speed is common in order to "catch up" with the schedule when a passenger is tardy when boarding.'

A sub-ed may have superior recommendations smiley - erm

I heard somewhere that the seabus runs at much lower speed than that for which it was designed, because of increased potential erosion or damage caused by prop turbulence. I don't know if this is true, but would be an interesting side note if you could determine it's authenticity

Opticalillusion- media mynx life would be boring without hiccups

smiley - erm unsure of the placing of the website addresses although thaqt may be just because i'm picky

I don't know if you are allowed a picture but if you are then a picture of canada would be ideal in it (possibly top right hand corner) which would reflect straight away where the event is.

I only know what you are talking about having gone there so have as nearly a clear view on it as you do. smiley - sorry don't want to sound harsh just trying to help.

Emee, out from under the rock

I liked the entry. Found it informative and well-organized. I didn't have any problem with the web addresses, etc and I know that headers and whatnot will be dealt with in the sub-ed process. Looks good! smiley - cheers

I'll make all suggested changes this evening (overnight for most of you). It's very, very rough and I have yet to put it into GuideML. The links will be links from words I have yet to add.

Thank you all for your help. smiley - cheers
