Hello Andy the Owlatron,
Cheshire .... - I went to Uni in Manchester many moons ago - your neck of the woods-ish. But I live in Dorset mainly - with the odd foray into London - when I have to! - or, want to - for the Tate and R.A.
I have not really got the hang of h2g2 yet - I am a Mornington Crescent gal - and we have been led astray by one of our number - into your realm - and I think some of us are somewhat lost!

Mornington Crescent is a Radio 4 Message Board, loosely, very loosely, at the moment, based around the game Mornington Crescent as played by the team on I'm Sorry I Havn't A Clue.
The best way to find out about it is to go and have a read of some of the old threads - I am afraid Istvn (Stevan None)and myself (Chelsea Girl) were persuaded, quite easily actually, to lower the whole tone of the proceedings - have a look at the Morr-dor Crescent thread to get a general feel... no, not of me! See - we just can't help it!
