Glad you sorted it out. I only opened the Running Dog account as a 'target' for anyone else who wanted to open up in h2g2. Had a previous account here but, although h2g2 makes fascinating reading (well most of it does), the MiscWorld's more my type of e-community.

Off to check out your website, now.

BTW, one of the things I find frustrating about h2g2, is that its easy to lose track of conversations .. .. you might be expecting me to reply to your post in my message centre .. .. so I will .. .. but then you have to decide where to reply (if at all) .. .. then someone else may very well reply as well .. .. and you end up continuing conversations over half a dozen threads .. .. .. .. .. der!

Hi Running Dog! (and Stevan, and waves to CK)

I just followed you from the Mornington Crescent board (I'm a big Clue fan too!).

It's not as difficult as you just made it sound. Basically we all have a message centre with as many threads as we like in it and we can all join in the conversation. You can keep track of your messages by looking at the section labelled "My Conversations", here you can keep track of all your posts so it's a lot less confusing then the BBC messageboards!

To make threads automatically appear in the "My Conversations" panel, you can click "Click here to be notified of new conversations about this entry" and all new threads will appear in your conversation bar.

It's very easy to decide where to reply - just reply to a particular post on the same board by clicking the reply button!
