Villa Spurs is 10 minutes in. My money is on the scorers remaining untroubled*.
In the meantime, this week, I have received the hereunder from personnel in the field in Ingerland and Oirland:
Sergei: How long did it take Keegan to realise he was out of his depth? Methinks Malcolm McClaren needs to spot the fact very shortly or we can
all forget a little holiday in lederhosen land in 2008. What is he doing? G-7-1-1-0 (the 0 being Crouch) is a very strange formation indeed that I don't believe is conducive to goal scoring which used to be the point of football. What was he doing making notes after Robbo's gaff? Must make a point of putting someone on the goal line for
back passes? That would make it 1-G-7-1-0.
Unless this is a conspiracy to make David Beckham an even greater Lord
than he already is by bringing him back as the saviour of Ingerlund....?
Personally I think we need wing-halves, a decent inside-left and
sweepers (whatever happened to sweepers?)
McPaddy: The influx of eastern europeans into Britain after the EU made it illegal for you to 'fight them on the beaches' took all the sweeper jobs you had going.... Tescos, McD's ...... I only saw the goals, that was enough for a laugh, 'Robinson Clouseau' was my favourite back page today, wit and originality on a sports page, the worl is going mad>e<.
Our beloved boys in green made a draw seem like a win as usual, Zenedine Kilbane, the hero, had to go off because he got poked in the eye in the goal celebrations. Stan for England! Our star was McShane from West Brom, a slimmer version of Paul O'Connell the rugby player and just as effective. 1 point from 9........ Austria here we come!

*But I ain't not got rich by getting these things right.
