Got a wicked beautiful girlfriend. Am in love and so is she. So thats why you haven't heard so much from me recently, had nothing to complain about.

Only downer is my best mate finally joining the army tomorrow.

End of an era.

Been all over with Ed, so many festivals us two, trips abroad, nights out. So many deep stoned chats about random shit, he's always been the one most on my level. Which is why him joining the army is all the wierder, he's even been on anti-war marches with me.

Not only that he's probably a key member of one of my groups of friends, his house has been our staging ground and party place since we were teenagers. Everyone knows him as one of the safest, nicest and straight up fun guys.

I guess as I get older I should get used to people punking off and finding new stuff, I have friends with kids, married, etc but still...

Gonna miss you Ed, I aint ashamed to say I love you as much as a friend can, even though you'll be back there's gonna be an Ed shaped hole in Bristol, and I ain't the only one who feels that way.

Safe as funk bro, I don't have to tell you how much I think of you & 1 thing people always mention is how safe you are, even when they've just met you.
