Got a message from you at last! You must have got your computer up and running. I tried to ring you on Saturday, and Sunday, but both times you were gadding about.

I haven't found how do do carriage returns on this thing yet - I know there was a forum on them somewhere, but I have not had time to read it.

Is everything going alright with the baby? I know you had a meeting with the consultant again on Monday, do let me know what is going on.

Went to lunch, but did have a look at the page first. I thought she would have Alexander's URL on as well (I saw Alexander's page).

What kind of information do you want for Official user pages? Real or ironic micky taking? I was going to write some pages, but don't think my style is appropriate.

I'd prefer witty but true articles that have some real, useful content. There's plenty of ironic articles already. The more real facts you have, the better.

I've now got my Alexander diaries on my page, as well as his URL - in fact my page is altogether more interesting now.

My bump is doing well, although I am on another 10 days bedrest before the doctor allows me to get up properly. I did manage to wash the dog today though, so I am doing well.

How does one do carriage returns on your user page? Let me know, and I will write some more.

Bob has had an awful time with kidney stones recently, and we spent all Wednesday night with him hooked up to an IV at the hospital. Not something I want to go through again. I am finding out about kidney stones, so that I can do a page for the guide. Bob's were caused by drinking too much milk and orange juice. He is only drinking water now!

What time are you generally on line?

Oops....just found out about carriage returns, simple html I guess! Duh.

I hope Bob won't have to suffer too much longer with the kidney stones. I was amazed to find out that orange juice and milk can cause them! Scary.

We're usually on line late evening our time - 6 or 7pm your time. If you go to my page and click on the link that says 'Don't click here' you'll get a box up which tells you who's been on line in the last fifteen minutes, so you can see if we're around. Unfortunately, there's no way to send an instant message yet.

We did hear about Bob. I hope the stones don't hang around for long, and that he feels much better soon.

Presumably you only have 9 days of bed rest left now. I hope the rest goes quickly.

Bob seems alright now, he is at work at the moment, so at least he felt well enough to go.

Have you checked out www.babycenter.com ? If you are not yet completely sure of a second name for Charlotte. They have a tool which brings up baby names, including African ones, if you are interested in going back to your heritage, Bernadette! Or there are some nice Indian ones as well. Anyway, it is a good site, I think, with a lot of information, so you may want to visit anyway.

I haven't checked out any baby websites yet, mostly because I don't like to spend too long connected. I'll probably get round to it eventually.

We're glad to hear that Bob is feeling better. I hope it stays that way. Clara is here at the moment, and she sends her best wishes too.

We got another picture of Charlotte this morning. She's now around five pounds so that explains why she feels so heavy these days. I'm longing to see a picture of your baby. You should be able to get a good one quite soon.

Took me a while to notice you were logged on - I was on the phone! Does it cost you per minute to be connected then, or something? What a bummer. Say Hi to Clara for me - why don't you set her up with a page, I keep looking, and have not found one for her.

Of course we get charged per minute - there's no such thing as free local calls with B.T., and even the cable companies that do free calls specifically exclude calls to your service provider.

Clara is supposed to have her own page, she has registered, but there is a problem with the way her computer handles cookies, or else Shaheer.net filter them out, or something. Hopefully when the passwords are in operation that'll help.

I see what James means about too slow to have a conversation, I got your message 16 minutes later than you posted it! Oh well, I am signing off now, it was nice talking to you, look after Charlotte for me!
