Yep, a mighty fine first album! I find myself playing it a lot and still havn't got tired of it yet. It's got light and depth, brooding but uplifting at the same time.

Still not as good as The Stooges though!smiley - smiley

Yes indeedy, I too have played it again and again without tiring of it.
The best part is, it motivated me to dig out some of my old Stooges and V.U. LP's and get down to some serious brooding again! smiley - winkeye I hope these guys stick with it.

Well it's too late now..............
you've mentioned V. Underground and now I can be boring. If you are a big fan, I recently got a 3 CD set of them playing a month of dates around San Fransico in '69. The quality is better than the official live double album set but better still, the power of the band comes across.

Each CD has a version of Sister Ray on it.
Well, I like it !!!!!smiley - smiley

No sweat! I'm on the case but it might take a couple of days to get back to you as mrsthewife has broken her elbow + minisuperdogmonkey is starting to walk so my computer time is very limited at the moment.

There is a big athletic event in the UK at the moment which involves all the Commonwealth countrys and the music used to advertise it on tv is the Stooges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unbelivably we've had No Fun & Gimme Danger.

Weird?
