Rivkeh Yankee-Shoes... bashing about the BoE again

Well Hikers, I'm back from my wandering the West Coast of America, and boy was it a blast. Took in a lot of smiley - tea and smiley - cappuccino shops, saw my friend kick the bucket, smiley - erm, Jump the broom, that is. She's married... smiley - doh... joined the dark side of the force she did.

Now I'm exhausted and happy to be back in good old Michigan, and back with you lovely persons!

Back after two weeks' off - and it's just gone half past seven in the morning. Urgh. I haven't been up at this time for a fortnight...smiley - zzz

At the risk of smiley - footinmouth, is 'kicking the bucket' being used as a euphemism for marriage? I'm a bit work lagged at the moment...

Chronos

I've never heard it used that way before, its always been "death" like "bought the farm", "pushing up daises", "joined the choir invisible", and stuff like that.

Yes, yes, it's a joke about marriage and death and such. Bittle singleton ramblings and all that.
