First of all, my pc is FINALLY fixed, and I come back to see that my dearest dreams have been fufilled. 
is now an official SMILEY!!! YAY!!! I also really like the 
one. If I ever get another tattoo, the thing will be worked in somehow.
Also, I went to my first Renne faire and had an absolute BLAST! I dressed up, and next year will have the coolest outfit.

Have to agree, is a v. good smiley.
Just need a bird one for the apparently wild green parakeets I saw flying around Hampton Court Palace a couple of weeks ago. That was a bit hallucinogenic, I can tell you - and all without needing any banned substances...
Not a species you expect to see flapping around Surrey/Middlesex!

A bit cold and damp at the moment, but that's autumn for you.
Never mind, come Christmas it'll be really cold and hopefully very snowy - oh, hang on, that's Salzburg, not Cardiff.
Ooh. I can't wait! Only three months to go...
On a really boring note, today is my eighth anniversary of starting work in my present job. Sad or what?

Autumn is really nice here, all the leaves turn golden, and the air is perfect... plus all the ripening fruit!
I wish I could stick with any job longer than 2 years.

I must admit that I'm looking forward to those fabulous winter mornings when the sun is bright, the sky almost painfully blue, and the frost is thick.
I love the effect of the frost on pavements - they look like someone's been throwing diamond chips about, or possibly 
dust.
Rather a naff comparison perhaps, but I don't mind because I love it when the weather's like that. There's a real crispness to the air that you just don't get in the early autumn. Roll on November, I say!
