h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Eegads. I've been watching Granny this weekend. She's in decline, I can just tell. It's so nuts. I wish my folks were here because I question whether or not I handle things well. I called the hospice nurse, and she came out, and checked things out for me, and said I'm doing a great job, so that took stress off.

Well, that, a glass of , a massage, and an hour long . Gah. That really really helped a lot.

On top of all that, Giffy's car broke down last night, he walked a quarter mile or so home in the dark with a bag of groceries. We didn't sweat it too much, but called a neighbor who towed it home for us in the morning.

I also just finished a biography of Keith Green written by his wife. It really struck me... I think God's timing is amazing, because there were things in there I really really needed to hear. Since I've finished a non-fiction book or two now, I can go on to the next Robert Jordan tome.

Do you know what is crazy? I bought the coolest card for my best friend 'Chel. We always get each other Hallmark Fresh Ink cards. Anyway, this one was PERFECT. It has a picture of a hispanic man in sparkly blue spandex and says on the outside "So you will not come to Omaha with Paco? Paco can show you many things, but Paco will not beg". Then on the inside it says "Birthday or no, don't go with Paco". So I told her I'd found her the perfect card. Well, she calls me tonight, and tells me she was looking for a card for her sister, and picked up a card and thought "Oh no! I bet this is the one Raych has got me for my birthday!" It was the Paco card. A totally random card I picked just because it made me laugh hard enough to have to pee.

The great thing is, it could've been worse. See, one year we sent each other the SAME CARD... I got mine just as she got hers. It's outta control. I have the coolest friends. She said "Don't buy any more cards... I just sent you the perfect card and I don't want to get on in the mail!" If it's the card that says "you're my favoritest thing" I'm gonna be so mad, I swear on my tattoo

I haven't done NE research per say, moastly hangin' 'round intristing threads and trying 2 fit in only ariving at the 50,000th post! know of NE intristing threads I might like? as long as there's something goin' down I'll probly like it.
