For the VC Chesterfield 25 I was
on the reserve list, can you believe it with a PB (personal best)of 58-01 so I spent Saturday morning waiting for a phone call telling me of a cacellation and at about 12pm I got one. The event was at 5pm and the weather conditions were
near perfect.I arrived at Ranby
Nottinghamshire a little before
4pm, my start time was 5-11 wearing #124.
I felt strong and my average speed most of the way round was 27 mph I lost a bit on the climb
out of Blyth but finished with a
personal best time of 56-17 an
improvement of 1-44, the fastest 25 in the club (Birdwell Wheelers)this season.
