Okay, so it's cool to have lotsa friends on this place. It's NOT cool to use that group of friends as a method for advancing yourself through the "H2G2 status circle" (whatever that means). Yet some people feel that's what we've done, through no fault of our own.

Don't hate us 'cause we're beautiful.

Have we now? I'd have thought it was the other clique(s). I don't have any status, that's for sure.

Friends are all you ever really need.

Well...and Oreos. We need Oreos, too.

But that's not the point, as usual.

I've got some nice shoes on, but I don't think I've got any status either.

Cliques? More just groups of friends who know each other well, and who stand up for each other because of their friendship

I mean if I'd known the only reason any of you were my friends was so that you could advance your status at h2g2 then I certainly wouldn't have spent so much time... er... doing things!

not fair I'm not a member of anyone's clique. I'll just have to clash by myself...

luckily I'm colourblind and do my shopping at the sally's so I should have no problem with this.

I clash with everything eventually. Or sometimes right away. Cliques form to avoid me.

Just because I haven't said it here yet... I love you guys. Very much. I feel sick right now over the fact that my words (meant to help spare people from getting hurt) may have inadvertantly hurt some of my friends.
