I suppose it's something to look forward to if nothing else, and whatever they do we'll have to lump it wether we like it or not as usual. We got TV, Telephone and Broadband with them, I wonder if it would be cheaper to add our mobiles in with the package rather than having them seperate, as we do now. ( I'm with O2 and Jackies with Orange)
Cheers Alan.

I know what you mean. I always refused to have and sometimes I regret changing my mind, but now I have got used to having one I would be lost without it, though life would definetly be more peaceful. Stick with your feelings about them your'e better off without mobiles.

hi alan

what put me off was the women with young kids on a bus, that give the thing to the kid to play the ruddy rindtones, and one was the demented frog. ggrr.
-
and my bus from here to town takes about 15 mins, a woman was on a mobile, talking loud.and she was talking to another woman, who was at the stop,as we got off.
-
but what really drives me mad is school kids playing the crapiest socalled musice all the way on the bus,and the drivers never say a ruddy thing. no thanks
-
ive just written another guide entry, its been years since i did the ww2 one.

Hi Jim I saw your guide entry last night, I thought it was brilliant so I followed your link to the Yorksview site and spent a couple hours on it. Then I sent an email to Gary Stockdil with some pictures I had just taken of Monk Bretton Priory in Barnsley, in reply he told me his partner is presently writing a diary on Barnsley and thanked me for the pictures which he intends to use in the article.
Jackie has asked me to ask you if you have a computer running at home yet or are you still using the library.
Cheers Alan.

i cant afford a pc at home, and to be honest after the last year of argivation, a few hours a day at the lib is ok by me.
-
i was told there is a ongoing type forum, on where he,s been by people that have seen or spoken to him, i couldnt find it.
-
it was a lady at the lib, but they have diff staff, so i cant remember which one it was.
-
i dont know how i do it, but i seem to find sites like the stockdill while searching on other things.lol jim
