Earth Time: Mid-Year 2002

This place ticks! I mean really fast, like sand slipping through fingers. We measure time but it is an illusion. I am becoming as old as my mother was when I was my daughter's age. Frightening thought.

At the same time, the body ages but inside the spirit is still 20 something or less, sometimes much less, especially when watching soppy Earth Drama shows.

Is is only a coincidence that when earth age (AGE) approaches the half-century (50) it merges and becomes SAGE (with a bit of poetic licence)? But I really think I am wiser now that my clock has sped forward a few turns of the face.
