Any suggestions?

My song writing has ground to a halt, maybe I can get going on that again, for some reason I've never found this flat all that inspirational though. While I was in American I had plenty of ideas, and when I used to live with my parents I wrote loads of songs, there's something draining about living here... or maybe it's just a fear of waking sleeping flatmates who've just got back from a nightshift

I used to play around with sound a lot more too, radio dramas and things, but when your hobby becomes your job you just don't want to do it at home. There's always photography, but I enjoyed that more when I could develop my own pictures, shame that the chemicals stink so much

I think in the meantime I'll just start reading a lot more books... there must be some cheap interesting hobbies around, but I think I'm just trying to hard at the moment, I'm sure one'll turn up without even noticing if I just let it

But yes any suggestions are welcome

My hobbies are usually expensive: colecting radios, collecting toys, collecting dust, 2 cars, and a lot of models i can't work on right now.

Perhaps a cat? Stuffed?

Not much of a hobby in that Day 1, bought cat. Day 2, Cat just stood there. Day 3, no change. Day 4, see day 3.

Perhaps if you purcaced a stuffed mouse for it to play with?

I did think of another hobby that i enjoy, building things like furniture. Doesn't cost much. I built a set of custom book shelves for a friend to fill an alcove, cost me about $35 american to get the materials.
