All right, mental block—"I've brought my son up without a flaw!"
"Without a floor?"
What the hell is that?
That's going at the top of my list of Jonny's floors—his propensity to say things that make me think of other things which I then can't identify, simply, of course, because I suddenly want to.

Four or five of 'em is me making sure there's still in fact nothing there... anyway one of *my* websites is linked from the Guide and I don't think I get any hits from it really.
See, thing is, the mention isn't really what's got it all that attention. It's his saying all the time, "I got a website!" and everybody going to see it, and then everybody else going, "Did you see Ant's website?" and then everybody *else* going "No, I'll go look now," and so on, and so on, and like that.
And also people like me and JJJJJ who go mess the counter up.
Ant, as my fellow SWUBAGger says, is a very popular guy.

Yeah but if you'd done that you wouldn't have stayed popular.
No, that's not true. You'd be popularly known as the resident git.
What good would that do anybody?

Yes, Spartus.
Oh, shut up, Greg!
He is you know. You go and ask him. He'll tell you.

No, of course not. Are you totally deranged? Would YOU ask him? Shee.

Erm, could we go back to the bit where you said 'resident git' and go through it a bit slower with me. I *can be* that slow. Sometimes.

He's taking it very well, as you ask. He's in Barbados at the moment with Uri Gellar on a conference on balsa wood. He sends his regards.

That's very good to hear. I wondered what had become of him.

Thank Bob we found him: I'd hate to think we had to have a whole virtual election to vote in a new one.

JJJHowqua Posted Oct 17, 1999
But ala, if we voted in a new one then he would be the resident git instead of the previous resident git, and the current resident git would be the new previous resident git.
Or did I completly jump off the speeding train of thought somewhere around here?
