Hi Noggin,
Thank you for your message, it was very kind. I might have to take you up on your offer at some stage as this seems to be a massive site. Very interesting though. I spent half the night reading that one thread!
Anyway, thank's again.
take care
Andrew (Bed Time).

Anytime.
You'll find a lot of people on site who are happy to help. It's generally a friendly place, despite the arguments.

Hi Bed Time,
How's it going? I see your new here, that obliges me to welcome you to h2g2:
WELCOME!
I hope you enjoy yourself here at h2g2, it's a fantastic place. Don't be intimidated by the huge rambling threads, just get stuck in!
Also, it's a great way to meet more people if you "edit your userpage" by writing a little something about yourself. Or anything really. Then people can pop over to your personal space like you just did with good ol Noggin here.
All the best.
Ste
PS If you ever need anything just holler. I'll be happy to help, as will most people on this site.

Just thought I'd pop by and see how you were settling in. Pretty well, by the look of it. Having met so many researchers so quickly is probably a bit confusing, but it's also an in on lots of conversations, which you can join by clicking on conversations on their lists if they look interesting. If you post anything (or subscribe by clicking on "subscribe to this conversation" after the most recent post), it'll automatically come up on your list so you can keep track. See you about the place, I hope,

Hi Noggin,
I'm settling in very well thank's. I had a massive weekend so have not been in any state to check my computer over the last few days...
There is so much on this site, but it's so interesting. I found a great article on the liars paradox the other day, which I had never even heard of before, (I was looking for something on the grandfather paradox). There seems to be a very diverse bunch of researchers here, and some great conversations/information to explore.
As you said, I have had contact with a few people since joining, but it's been really nice.
I'm just glad that I stumbled across such a stimulating community.
Thank's for your concern.
BT!
