It's good to see that you've already written something in your Personal Space, and have altered your <./>UserDetails</.> to include a nickname. Why not also check out the <./>Smiley</.> page to see how to add all these lovely littly smileys you see around - all 150+ of them!
Besides that, all I personally recommend to you is to click anything that takes your fancy on that there toolbar - you can't break h2g2 by having a play around onsite, and you should get a warm welcome in most places provided you follow the <./>HouseRules</.> - which are pretty much common sense, and a little copyright for good luck.
