h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Oh my goodness! Now that I am no longer at work I have to get this out.
This crazy lady came in to work today and color photocopied her disability placard for the car.. And I laminated it, but then a friend of mine said "Hey, that's illegal."

Our Branch Manager happened to be in, so he went and talked to her and her wife, and they got in his face big time. So they went home and got "proof" that you could copy it.

By this time Mr. Manager had left, and the guy in charge was my supervisor. So he goes and talks to her. Turns out she brought in some DMV paper that says the DMV paper can be faxed places, thinking this permits her to make a color photocopy of her placard, which is not only illegal, it's a forgery.

She goes off, calling my Asst. Mgr. an a**hole, screaming in the middle of our store for like 5 minutes. So A.M. calls the cops and tells her to get the crack out of our store...

*laughs* The cops come and say we're right. So we cut up the laminated thingie and think, alright cool.

Later on, her wife comes in the store, makes a color copy of the placard, walks by flipping us off.. AND LEAVES HER CREDIT CARD AND THE PLACARD IN THE COPIER! Woo hoo! What an idiot.

So we call another cop to pick up the cards.. and tell him the story. He starts CRACKING up.. and looks up her info. Turns out she's "disabled" by being mentally unstable. Seriously. *snicker* Now I know that's not very nice to laugh about it.. but the way she was casting about horrid words and vibes in our store, and the fact that the person who had to deal with her other than management (both times) was me, I get to be pissy at her okay?

Anyway that is the saga of today.

An amazingly crazy person.
