D&D: Day Two

Post 1

ScienceGirlMSU

Somehow today turned into the second day of Dungeons and Dragons, except this time it was hosted in my living room, preventing me from watching any TV or puttering on my computer since all the seats were taken... Oh well.

Also, while this was going on, Carl dropped his pencil in one of the chairs and pulled out a steak knife that wasn't ours. Aparently, the past owner of the chair dropped it down in there and we are the lucky receipents of a very sharp knife. (thank God he didn't cut his finger or something while grabbing it!)

Other than that, I haven't done a thing that was productive today other than write a Guide entry on Southern food. Odd stuff, let me tell you. My mother doesn't understand some of the stuff either since she was raised around Buffalo, Ny and didn't grow up with some of the interresting stuff this area of the country has spawned. I'm sorry in advance if I've forgotten anything, so feel free to make a comment in my direction if I have.

While I'm on the subject of odd foods, I introduced my household to corned beef hash for breakfast. Aparently, neither Erin or Jason had ever heard of this stuff, which is also odd, seeing as you can buy it from the Dollar General for $.75 a can. While neither of them complained, Erin described it as the 'mystery meat from the MSU cafeteria.' Hey, at least she knows what it is now! smiley - smiley

Also, my boyfriend and I took to some carnal acts this evening to the point of where we were so loud that the upstairs neighbours were beating on the floor trying to get us to shut up and my other housemates Grant and Erin could hear us on the other side of the house. (talk about revenge for the Eminem bunch! smiley - devil)

Two things I forgot to mention yesterday: Murray doesn't suck anymore since the local BP Station (a gas station and convience store) now carries Jones Soda. ( http://www.jonessoda.com ) One of the most wonderful things in the world that I used to have to drive to Calvert City (about an hour away) in order to get since this little craphole of a town didn't carry it. I just happend to see the sign in front of the station while on the way to pay the rent and went into a full smile and euphoria knowing that I can now purchace the stuff in town.

The other thing was since all of the guys (and Erin) were busy killing dragons, Maggie, Renee and I went driving around town at 2am and managed to get cat-called at by two skuzzy looking guys next to some very s**tty and run-down apartments. Rather than just going on our merry way, we drove around the block and I flashed them my breasts for all to see. (there's nothing better to do in town, I swear!)

Yippie, tomorrow is payday!!!
